Event-News: Die Termine 2018 für die iXS Downhill Cup Serien und den Specialized Rookies Cup stehen! Geplant sind insgesamt zwanzig Rennen in sechs verschiedenen Ländern. Der iXS Downhill Cup kommt im nächsten Jahr zudem mit einer grundlegenden Änderung.
Mit einem Paukenschlag startet der iXS Downhill Cup in die Saison 2018: Die nationalen Serien iXS German Downhill Cup und iXS Swiss Downhill Cup werden 2018 zum iXS Downhill Cup zusammengefasst. Der nationale Charakter soll allerdings beibehalten werden: Die Gesamtwertung der Deutschen wird in Thale geehrt, die Siegerehrung für Schweizer findet in Bellwald statt. Der iXS European Downhill Cup als Premiumserie und der Specialized Rookies Cup bleiben von der Änderung unberührt. Highlight für alle Nachwuchsfahrer ist wieder am ersten Augustwochenende die Austragung der iXS International Rookies Championchips in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.
